Nucks lose to Kings and the NHL/ future topics!
Yeah I said it, the canucks lose another game to a really tough call. The league reviewed a goal deflected off of Daniel Sedin's skate last night and determined it a non-goal, even though the rule of deflected goals say there has to be a distinct kicking motion. It was very evident there was no kicking motion. With 2 games decided with shaky calls, the Canucks need to dig deep to climb back in the series. Another note, the Canucks allowed 3 PP goals, and were unable to score on their PP chances. Canucks look to rebound tomorrow night in LA, as the nucks and kings square off in game 4 of the series. I do plan on blogging about more than just hockey, I will be talking about various topics relevant to my family and I such as stone masonry, narcolepsy, celiac disease, apnea, and some of our summer activities. I will also be adding Gluten Free recipes and tips my wife and I have come up with! If you have celiac disease, you will want to check back for these helpful tips on reading labels, and what to look for/ask for when eating in restaurants or shopping. Talk to you soon!

Series split
A disappointing loss in GM Place last night, as the LA Kings were the recipients of an overtime powerplay on what can only be described as a weak call by the officials. A bench minor was called against the Canucks as an LA player threw the puck at the feet of the Vancouver players trying to make a change, costing them a too many men on the ice penalty. The LA Kings were able to put the puck in the back of the net behind Luongo on a rebound shot from Kopitar. The Canucks look to rebound on Monday in Los Angeles. GO CANUCKS!

Playoff Hockey! Vancouver/LosAngeles
Vancouver Canucks playoff hockey is upon us, after an exciting overtime win in GM Place in front of a home crowd. Look for another strong performance from the Sedin twins, and I know that some of Burrows chances will go in sooner than later. Grabner slots in on the fourth line in place of Pettinger, look for an energized fourth line that can put a few in the net. I am stoked for the drop of the puck, the game is a 7:00pm/pst start!
